Monash University – History
The establishment of Monash University in Malaysia came into being with the partnership of Monash University Australia and Sunway University College. Then the Government of Malaysia made a formal invitation to Monash University to put up a school in Malaysia. With a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Australia’s Prime Minister and Malaysia’s Government, Monash University became the first foreign university in the country.
