Universiti Darul Iman Malaysia (UDM) or Darul Iman University, Malaysia is one of the public universities of Malaysia. It is located in Kuala Terengganu. This is the main campus which is better known as Kampus Kota. It has another campus in Gong Badak, which is called the Kampus KUSZA. Soon there will be a new addition to these two campuses, as a new one is currently being built at Besut.
Darul Iman University, Malaysia – History
Formerly known as Kolej Agama Sultan Zainal Abidin or Sultan Zainal Abidin Religious College, the school was established in January 27, 1980. It first offered only one program, Diploma in Islamic Studies (Syariah). It was in January 1, 2007 that the school was upgraded as a full university.

From its sole program offering on Diploma in Islamic Studies (Syariah), UDM rapidly grew into having various undergraduate and postgraduate programs under different faculties.
In the Kampus Kota, it has two faculties operating there. These are Faculty of Agriculture and Biotechnology which covers Bachelor of Science (Agricultural Biotechnology, Bachelor of Science (Animal Production and Health), and Bachelor of Food Technology in its undergraduate programs. For the postgraduate program in this campus, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy is offered.
There are six faculties on the other hand available in Kampus KUSZA. These are Faculty of Business Management and Accounting, Faculty of Contemporary Islamic Studies, Faculty of Informatics, Faculty of Innovative Design and Technology, Faculty of Languages and Communications, and Faculty of Law and International Relations.
